Yes, tablets can be easily crushed. The powder can be mixed with food or mixed in a little water and administered with a syringe.

Versikor500® is not contraindicated in pets suffering from kidney affection.

Versikor500® is not contraindicated in pets undergoing chemotherapy and/or radiotherapy.

In vitro studies support the synergism of mechanisms of PSP with certain chemotherapeutic drugs : PSP treatment enhanced the cytotoxicity of doxorubicin and etoposide (Hui 2005, Wan 2008).

Moreover, PSP restores immunosuppression induced by cyclophosphamide. (Huang 2013).

Currently, no interaction has been highlighted.

Due to PSP immunomodulation, precautionary principle states that Versikor500® should not be administered with immunosuppressive drugs, or if your pet suffers from an autoimmune disease.

Versikor500® was specifically formulated for dog and cats. It has been only tested in these two species.
